Archaeological excavations undertaken from 1968 till 1984 allowed to bring to light 203 Merovingian graves, as well as the bases of two fanums Gallo-Romans. The site is registered on the inventory of historic monuments since December 1st, 2016. The archaeological material is put in reserve looking forward to a new space of presentation where it can again be visible by the public. The necropolis is opened to the public on request outside the large-scale demonstrations (national Days of the archaeology, the European Heritage Days) in the course of which which the access is free Saturdays and Sundays of 2:00 pm at 6:00 pm.
